Privacy Notice
The short version
This website collects nothing about you. There are no forms, no analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, and no fonts or scripts loaded from anyone else’s server. You can read every word of this site without giving us anything.
We only hold personal data about you if you choose to contact us. What happens then is set out below.

What this website itself collects
Nothing that identifies you.
- No contact form. There is no form on this site to submit.
- No analytics. We do not measure visits, sessions or behaviour.
- No cookies. The site sets none, which is why you were not asked about any.
- No third-party content. Fonts are served from our own domain. There are no embedded maps, videos, chat widgets, social buttons or advertising tags.
What our hosting provider records
The site is served by Cloudflare, which acts as our processor. Like any web server, its infrastructure processes technical information needed to deliver a page to you and to keep the service secure. This includes your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser’s user agent.
We use this only to deliver the site and to protect it from attack and abuse. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not combine it with anything else. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
What happens if you contact us
Every button on this site opens WhatsApp or your email client. Nothing is sent until you decide to send it.
If you message us on WhatsApp, you leave this website and enter a service operated by Meta. Meta processes your message under its own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. Once your message reaches us, we process the phone number you contacted us from, the name shown on your WhatsApp profile, and whatever you chose to write.
If you email us, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and the contents of your message.
Why we process it: to answer you, and to discuss and prepare a possible contract for our services. Under UU PDP this is processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, together with our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Where the GDPR applies, the equivalent bases are Article 6(1)(b) and Article 6(1)(f).
What we never do: we do not sell your data, we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list without you asking, and we make no automated decisions about you.
Who else sees it
Only the people and services needed to run the business:
- Meta, if you contacted us through WhatsApp, because that is the channel you used.
- Our email provider, which stores our mailbox.
- Professional advisers or authorities, only where the law requires it.
We do not transfer your data to anyone else.
International transfers
We are based in Indonesia. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or elsewhere, your message reaches a controller outside your own jurisdiction, and the services we use to receive it may store data in other countries. We only use providers that offer appropriate safeguards for that transfer. If you would rather not send personal data internationally, please do not use the contact channels on this site.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client correspondence and records: for the length of the engagement, and afterwards for as long as Indonesian tax and company law requires us to keep business records.
- Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period on its standard retention cycle, and not archived by us.
Your rights
Under UU PDP (Law No. 27 of 2022) you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and why,
- correct it if it is wrong or incomplete,
- delete it,
- stop or limit how we process it,
- give you a copy in a usable format,
- withdraw a consent you gave us, at any time, and
- object to processing we base on legitimate interest.
Where the GDPR applies to our processing of your data, you have the equivalent rights under Articles 15 to 22, and you may complain to the supervisory authority in your country.
To use any of these, email hello@theoffloadstudio.com. We answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first at hello@theoffloadstudio.com so we can put it right. You may also complain to the competent Indonesian authority under UU PDP, or, if the GDPR applies to you, to your national data protection authority.
Children
This service is sold to businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly process the personal data of anyone under 18.
Changes
If we add anything that collects data, a contact form or analytics for example, we will update this notice before switching it on.
